Our AW Awards Gala, when the winners are announced, is scheduled for June 7th, 2017, in Mamaia, Romania, during the AWSummit event. Prior to this date, the Nominations and Final vote will be available on the official website.
You may nominate yourself or your favorite models/ companies from March 15 to April 15. The nomination should be submitted into the proper category (see Special Rules below) in order to be taken into consideration.
Prior to the initiation of the final stage of the voting process, the nominations are filtered according to the category rules (listed below). Nominations which do not fit the category/ do not comply with the rules are removed. Also, the least nominated models/ companies will be removed at this stage. Based on popularity (number of nominations), the number of models/companies for each category is further established: a category may comprise 5 up to 10 nominations for the final stage of the voting process.
The final vote will take place between April 16 and May 15 .
5.1 Incompatible categories
a) A model nominated for the Best Newcomer category cannot be nominated for Cam Girl of the Year, Fetish or TS Model of the Year.
b) A studio can be nominated either for the Best or Emerging Studio of the Year. A studio cannot have nominations into both categories.
c) A camsite can be nominated for one of the two categories: Best or Emerging Camsite of the Year.
d) A camsite can be nominated for the proper category (Freemium or Premium Camsite of the Year) - it cannot be nominated into both.
e) A person cannot be nominated for Businessman/ Businesswoman of the Year and Company representative at the same time.
5.2 Category rules / requirements
a) Best Newcomer - any camgirl who started performing between April 2016 and present.
b) Alternative / Fetish Model of the Year - any model acting in a fetish category or having an alternative lifestyle (Emo, tattoos, etc.)
c) Social Media Star - we will accept only nominations of models (any category: males, females, couples, TS, etc.) with a high number of followers / likes.
d) Emerging Cam Studio of the Year - only studios / brands started after June 2014.
e) Shining Cam Studio of the Year - reffers to small brands / studios with less than 20 active models .
f) Freemium Camsite of the Year - only camsites based on TIPS as a business model.
g) Premium Camsite of the Year - only camsites based on PRIVATES as a business model.
h) Emerging Camsite of the Year - only camsites started in 2014, 2015 and 2016.
i) Businessman/ Businesswoman of the Year - only the owner, CEO or COO of a company can be nominated.
j) Company representative - any other company representative except for the ones nominated in the Businessman/ Businesswoman of the Year.
The companies and individuals involved in the awards show are not eligible for AW Awards nominations. This includes our show’s hosts Thomas Skavhellen and Niki Night.
a) VOTES ON AW - AWARDS
There are two ways of getting points : directly on aw-awards.com , or reffering people to vote for you on social media (facebook , twitter and instagram) .
In the first case any vote counts one point , but if the vote comes from a referral link in social media you will get 5 points . If you have a personal website and you want to get votes from there , let us know . You can get 5 points for every vote you reffer from your website .
b) SPONSOR VOTES
All our sponsors get the chance to boost their favorites .
See our index page / sponsors packages on how many points they can give away to each category .
c) COMMUNITY VOTES
We are asking experts as well to vote for AW AWARDS . We consider our chathosts and studios communities as experts . Therefor , any user with more than 15 comments / posts on AWNews.com and AdultWebcamStars.com will have the oportunity to vote once . Every vote counts 20 points .
8.1 CAM GIRL OF THE YEAR * CAM BOY OF THE YEAR * ALTERNATIVE / FETISH MODEL OF THE YEAR * BEST COUPLE * TS MODEL * BEST ENTERTAINER
Any model with good performances , no matter how old or new is in this industry . Obvious that for each of the above listed categories we will accept nominations only for models that fit those particular categories :
girls - for Cam girl of the year
boys (straight or gay) for Cam Boy of the Year
alternative look / lifestyle / fetish for Fetish Model of the Year
couples (only girl - boy couples , no lesbians or threesomes) for Best Couple category
and obvious TS models / Shemales / Gender Benders for TS Model of the year category .
Defining good performances : very popular on the websites they work , hard working (alot of online hours and presence) , with alot of exposure (such as social media , personal website , etc) , constantly active in the past 6 months . Models that dont fit in this description wont be accepted in the above categories .
8.2 MOST ATTRACTIVE MODEL
This category is designated to female models only .
We will approve for this category only models with quality pictures .
8.3 BEST NEWCOMER
This category is also designated to female models only . As the title of the category suggest , we will accept only newcomers to be nominated here .
Newcomers : models that started their model activity after 1rst of march 2016 .
8.4 BEST SOLO WEBSITE - of any category of cam models (no pornstars or other personal websites) . We will only accept paysites , no free sites (blogs , etc) . We will also accept only websites (paysites) with alot of content , pictures , videos , etc. - as this kind of websites are more probably to be popular .
8.5 SOCIAL MEDIA STAR -any cam model from any category can be nominated here (girls , boys , couples , etc.) . We will accept only models that have a good presence , alot of likes or followers (over 5000 to set a target) and a good presence (constant quality posts and engagement) .
8.6 CAM STUDIO OF THE YEAR - any cam studio can be nominated here . We will verify only the existance of the studio (if it has a website for example) .
8.7 SHINING CAM STUDIO - this is a new category for AW AWARDS and for the live cam industry . In this category we will accept only small studios (under 25 active models) that are not part of a larger network (of studios) or franchise .
8.8 INNOVATIVE CAM STUDIO OF THE YEAR - any studio with an innovative approach can participate in this category . We are looking for studios that made any kind of innovations (with their models , rooms setup , tehnical or logistical innovations , marketing strategies , etc.)
8.9 MALES / GAY CAM STUDIO - its obvious , that we will only accept for this category , studios working exclusively with boys (does not matter if straight or gay) .
8.10 FREEMIUM * PREMIUM * CAMSITE OF THE YEAR
This 3 categories are related . Using the basic logic , the CamSite of the year can be either the one who wins the Freemium Camsite of the Year , or the one winning the Premium category .
Freemium camsite of the year - based on free chat / tips / tokens
Premium camsite of the year - based on privates .
8.11 EMERGING CAMSITE OF THE YEAR - any live cam site started after 1rst of January 2016 .
8.12 MALES / GAY CAMSITE and VR CAMSITE
For males / gay camsite of the year its obvious that we will accept nominations only for brands holding a large portofolio of online cam boys .
As for the VR Camsite - we will accept only platforms that have this option / feature active .
8.13 MOST INNOVATIVE FEATURE - on a camsite , can be anything else but VR (that has its own category) .
8.14 BEST ONLINE SUPPORT - of a camsite for its models / studios .
8.15 BEST WHITE LABEL PROVIDER - any cam platform offering White Labels for its affiliates can be nominated here .
8.16 BEST AFFILIATE PROGRAM - only live cam affiliate programs
8.17 BUSINESS MAN OR WOMAN OF THE YEAR /and/ COMPANY REPRESENTATIVE
For the Business Man of Woman of the year we will accept only key representatives of any camsites or studios (owner , president , VP , CEO , CFO) . For the company representative can be nominated any other positions (account managers , country representatives , etc.)
8.19 OTHER CATEGORIES
PAYMENT COMPANY - any company offering payment solutions (from camsites to studios and models)
BILLING COMPANY - any company offering credit card processing or any other billing / alternative billing method .
PLEASURE PRODUCT - any pleasure product / sex toys - used by live cam models
CMS PLATFORM - any company offering CMS products for live cam models
AD NETWORK / TRAFFIC COMPANY -
INNOVATIVE OR TECH COMPANY OF THE YEAR - any company that innovates or has an amazing / revolutionary product
For each of the 4 categories listed bellow , there are two trophees : the Golden trophee for the winner (who gets the most votes) and for the runner-up :
